The Sounding Board is the AG’s board for strategic and science policy issues relating to scientific publishing. This includes, in particular, networking with national and international organizations (AEUP, OPERAS etc.) and projects (DIAMAS, CRAFT-OA, PALOMERA), supporting project proposals and preparing statements on current challenges and developments. It organizes the close cooperation between the working group and the Diamond Open Access service point. Accordingly, it provides contact persons for external stakeholders.
The Sounding Board decides on membership applications. Together with the Executive Board and the respective local committee, it organizes the annual meeting of the AG members and informs and discusses important developments, calls for proposals or other relevant topics.
