Since 2004, the AG Universitätsverlage has brought together numerous publishers from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and South Tyrol. The aim of the AG Universitätsverlage is to support the publishers in representing their interests and to promote the exchange of experience. The members of the AG mainly publish scientific publications of their own institutions.
When it comes to the distribution of traditional books, our aim is to offer high quality at fair prices. In addition to print products, university presses also publish online editions of their publications, thus supporting the principle of open access.
